How to Write Service Descriptions That Sell and Reduce Tickets
Customers skim. A good service description tells them what they get, how quickly and what to do if something goes wrong, all in a few lines.
A template
- What it is: one clear sentence
- Start time: a realistic range
- Speed: what to expect per day
- Quality: a plain description, not hype
- Refill: yes or no and for how long
- Requirements: the link format and any account settings
Be honest
Do not promise what you cannot control. Customers forgive slow delivery that was explained and punish delivery that was promised and missed.
Keep names consistent
Use a pattern in the service name so the list scans easily. Put the platform first, then the service type, then the quality or speed.
Translate where it helps
If you serve more than one language, translate the names and descriptions. AI translation speeds this up, but ask a native speaker to review the important ones.
Read your descriptions as a stranger would. If something is unclear, rewrite it.
