Refill and Drip-Feed Explained for Panel Owners
Refill and drip-feed are among the most requested features on any panel. Understanding them helps you describe services honestly and avoid disputes.
What drip-feed does
Drip-feed splits one order into smaller portions delivered over time. Instead of 1,000 in one go, a customer might receive 100 a day for ten days. It looks more natural and many buyers prefer it.
What refill does
Refill replaces engagement that dropped after delivery. Some services include it for a set number of days, and some do not. The panel can refill automatically through the provider or you can trigger it by hand.
When to offer each
- Drip-feed for campaigns, launches and accounts that want gradual growth
- Refill for services where drops are common
- Neither for one-off boosts where timing matters most
How to explain them
State the refill period in the description, say how a customer requests it and say what is not covered. Clear rules prevent most refill disputes.
Watch the cost
Refills cost you provider balance. Track how often each service needs one, and drop services whose refill rate eats the margin.
Used well, both features raise customer satisfaction without raising your support load.
