A Simple Pricing Strategy for Your Rental Panel
Pricing is the lever you control most. A good strategy is simple enough to apply to hundreds of services without thinking about each one.
Pick a rule and apply it everywhere
A common rule is cost plus a percentage, with a minimum profit per service. That keeps cheap services from earning almost nothing. Apply the rule in bulk, then adjust only the exceptions.
Use tiers
Have a public price, a lower price for regular customers and a reseller price. Custom rates let you offer these without making separate price lists. Tiers reward loyalty and bring in volume.
Look at the market, not only at costs
Check what comparable panels charge, but do not copy them blindly. If you are slower or less reliable, pricing at the top will hurt. If you are faster and answer tickets quickly, you can price modestly higher.
Review on a schedule
Once a month, look at your best sellers and your slowest ones. Raise prices where demand is steady. Lower or remove services nobody buys. Update rates whenever a provider changes theirs.
Avoid these traps
- Selling below cost to attract customers
- Changing prices daily and confusing buyers
- Ignoring gateway fees in your margin
- Offering discounts that stack without a limit
A calm, consistent pricing habit beats clever tricks.
